At J&D Lawn Service, our goals are simple. We want to provide quality service and we want our clients to be happy. If at any time, our clients aren’t happy…we do what we can to fix it.

We started J&D Lawn Service with a love of landscaping, which we share through the work we do. And we do our work with quality. All of our team members are trained by our owner, Jim. He developed his love of landscaping and focus on perfection, in Iowa, where he grew up. It was after 20 years in the financial industry, that Jim and his wife, Diane, started J&D Lawn Service.

Landscaping requires the same attention to detail and commitment to quality that is required in the financial world. Jim draws on his financial experience to train his team. He spends hours with each employee and crew leader to instruct them on the level of quality that is required for the landscaping business.

Honesty and communication are two main J&D Lawn Service pillars. We meet with each of our clients to totally understand what their vision is for their yard.  We listen and we offer our expertise to come up with a plan. Additionally, we make sure that we communicate clearly with our clients and then deliver the best results. And if those results aren’t exactly what the client wants, we work to make it right. We have several quality commitments in place:

1. We take the guess work out of landscaping. If you are scheduled for a particular day for landscaping service, you can be assured that it will happen each week and on the day you are scheduled. No need to wonder when or if your service will be done each month.
2. At the end of each service, our crew leader will do a final walk around the property to make sure the quality of work meet’s the client’s expectations.
3. Communication with our clients is key. We always let clients know what is happening in their yard, if we spot any issues, and how we will take care of it. Our crew leaders on the job are approachable and always available to talk to you about your lawn care needs.
